There has been a lot going on at ABIS in this short week. The Secondary Student Council have been working hard to organise and enthuse our community for Kindness and Odd Socks Day. All the students have written kindness cards to each other, which we will be giving out today.
This event is partnered with Odd Socks Day, which coincides with Anit-Bullying Week.
I was very disappointed that I wasn’t awarded 2 house points for wearing socks with sandals. I think the loss of street cred for this should have been recognised!!
The SSC have launched the ABIS House Captain nominations this week. Mr Cooper and I listened to some truly impressive candidate speeches yesterday. We had so many students put themselves forward that we ran out of time, so we will continue the judging next week. Successful candidates will be in position in time for ABIS Sports Day, and we’re looking forward to them bringing great energy to the interhouse competition this year!
