This Week in KG2

This week, we began exploring the seasons and focused on Autumn. The children used real autumn leaves to create little faces with stickers, enjoying a hands-on, creative way to notice the changes we see in this season.

We also talked about our ears and how we use them to hear. After listening to the story The Listening Walk, we went on our own listening walk around the school. Some of the sounds the children noticed were birds, the fan from the air conditioner, and children working on measurement in another class. When we returned, the students drew pictures to show what they had heard.

On Thursday, we ended the week with a wonderful Omani Day assembly. The children looked beautiful in their Omani clothes and national colours, and it was lovely to celebrate this special day together.

It was a busy and joyful week of learning, exploring, and celebrating!
