Dear KG2 Families,

We are so happy to share our first broadcast for the second semester of this academic year!

It has been wonderful to see our little learners return to school full of energy and excitement. They came ready to learn, explore, and enjoy their time back in class!

This week was a busy and special one with our Three-Way Conferences. A big thank you to all the parents who were able to attend. It was a valuable time for teachers, parents, and students to come together and celebrate each child’s glow and growth.

In our new Unit of Inquiry, “How the World Works,” we began exploring the five senses — sight, smell, touch, hearing, and taste. The children enjoyed hands-on activities and discussions, and we will continue to build on this learning in the coming weeks.

In Numeracy, we introduced number 9 with the rhyme:
“Make a circle and a line — that’s how I write number nine!”
We also explored the concepts of half and full through simple, engaging activities.

In Phonics, we learned about the letter “C c” through a story and practiced forming the letter. To make it even more fun, the children created a carrot craft, using their fine motor skills to cut and paste.

Wishing you all a wonderful and restful weekend!

Warm regards,
Ms. AlJabri & Ms. Maryam
