🎨 Visual Art Weekly Update
Welcome back! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. Our young artists had a wonderful week filled with creativity and exploration across all grade levels:
- KG1 – Students made collage with colored paper and started to use different shapes to create their own robot.
- KG2 – They finished Pablo Picasso collage and they started to create a big poster with different textures they discovered.
- Grade 1 – Students focused on the element of Art (value and form), they practice it on a practice sheet.
- Grade 2 – Students almost done with their culture landscape ideas by creating a story from their daily life.
- Grade 4 – Students explored the concept of value, practicing a variety of shading techniques (making cone & cylinder).
- ‘Grade 5 – summative assessment for an Omani still life.
- Grade 6 – Inspired by Jacob Lawrence, students began working on their own large projects, developing personal stories about migration through art.
It has been an inspiring week in the art room, and we are so proud of the progress each student is making.
