🎨 Visual Art Weekly Update

Welcome back! I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend. Our young artists had a wonderful week filled with creativity and exploration across all grade levels:

  • KG1 – Students practiced drawing circles, using both pencils and paint to build early drawing skills.
  • KG2 – They explored the importance of our hands and fingers through making friendship bracelets. In their second class, they began a fabric project to express different emotions.
  • Grade 1 – Students focused on the element of shape, using it to draw boys and girls.
  • Grade 2 – Students connected with their culture by creating self-portraits using their favorite colors.
  • Grade 4 – Students explored the concept of value, practicing a variety of shading techniques.
  • Grade 5 – After refining shading skills, they focused on blending techniques to create drawings of Omani pots, while integrating all elements of art in their work.
  • Grade 6 – Inspired by Jacob Lawrence, students began working on their own large projects, developing personal stories through art.

It has been an inspiring week in the art room, and we are so proud of the progress each student is making.

Wishing you all a beautiful and creative weekend! 🌟
