Welcome back everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful summer break. This week in the art room, students began their creative journey for the year by exploring materials, routines, and expressing themselves through art.
✨ Grades 1–6
- Students were introduced to the art room and learned how to use and organize materials responsibly.
- Together, they created Essential Agreements for our art class to ensure a caring, safe, and creative learning environment.
- As a fun start, students shared their favorite summer activities and expressed them through drawing using crayons and colored pencils.
🌈 KG1 & KG2
- Our youngest artists began learning the names of colors in a playful way.
- Each child chose their favorite color and created an artwork to express their identity through it.
It’s been a wonderful first week filled with creativity, responsibility, and joy. We are excited to see how our young artists continue to grow and express themselves this year!
