Dear Parents and Students,
As the 2024–2025 academic year comes to a close, I would like to congratulate all our students on their hard work, dedication, and growth throughout the year. This has been the most vibrant and dynamic year since I joined ABIS, filled with a wide range of activities and celebrations. From the International Food Evening and sports days to concerts, Oman Week, and meaningful service initiatives in the community, there has been so much to be proud of.
None of this could have been accomplished without the commitment and dedication of our teachers and staff. We are fortunate to have an exceptional team of educators and administration, and I extend my sincere thanks to each of them for their unwavering efforts on behalf of our students and school.
Equally important is the support of our families. We could not deliver the high-quality education we are so proud of without your partnership. It is through this strong collaboration that we work hand in hand to educate and nurture our students. My heartfelt thanks to all our families for your continued support and engagement.
As we enter the summer break, we also say farewell to several valued members of our teaching staff. Mr. Ferdi Kaya, Mr. Ferdi Atesin, Ms. Dorota, Ms. Marie, and Mr. Fernando will be moving on to new roles and adventures in different countries. On behalf of the ABIS community, I thank them for their dedication and contributions over the years. They leave behind a strong legacy, and we wish them all the best in the next chapter of their journeys.
We extend a special farewell to Ms. Zuweina, who has been an integral part of ABIS for nine years. Her unwavering support of our students, families, and staff has made a lasting impact. Her contribution to the culture and care of ABIS will be remembered with great appreciation. Please join me in expressing our deepest thanks for her service and commitment to the school.
To those students and families leaving ABIS this year, we send our best wishes as you move on to new schools, cities, and countries. Thank you for being part of our community and for making ABIS your home away from home.
Lastly, we will welcome several new teachers joining us next year. To learn more about them, please open the new teachers’ profiles here!
The ABIS Annual Report can be found here. This report covers the year and the events that shaped the teaching and learning at ABIS.
Wishing everyone a joyful and restful summer. Stay safe, enjoy time with family and friends, and we look forward to welcoming you back on Sunday, August 24.
All my best,
Dominic Robeau
