Today we held our secondary awards ceremony. Whilst it is always lovely to see students’ hard work celebrated, decisions about who wins are very tough, so many of our G8 students have surpassed themselves this year!! Myself and Mr Duncan have been hugely proud of their conduct, hard work and progress.
We are sadly saying goodbye to a few of our G8 next year, so Mr Duncan (legend) arranged for the students to have a party—I just love how the guarded, 14 year old angst is dropped the minute ‘Just Dance’ comes on…it’s good to see them feel free and not at all self-conscious!!
I’m nearly at the end of doing my first year at ABIS, which feels surreal, but I must have been enjoying myself because it’s gone REALLY quickly!!
