Dear Primary Families,

It has been a very positive week back in school after the half-term break, and it was lovely to see the students and teachers reconnecting with each other. I spent the break in Goa and thoroughly enjoyed the amazing food there!

This week, we have been following our Ramadan timetable, which is significantly different from our regular schedule. Thank you for your support and understanding of these changes—I know it can be a challenge to keep up with when PE days are or when library books should be returned, for example.

Ramadan is such a special time of the year, and I know that in our Arabic and Arabic Appreciation classes, students have been learning about this occasion. Next Wednesday evening, we look forward to our annual Iftar Supper. I hope to see as many of you there as possible to celebrate this special occasion together.

As you will see from the reminders below, we are approaching a busy few weeks ahead, particularly after the upcoming Eid holiday. While Eid dates are yet to be confirmed, please note that school will be closed on April 2nd and 3rd for staff professional development. After we return to school on April 6th, we will quickly be into the final round of ASAs, Book Week, and Student-Led Conferences. Further details about all of these events will be shared nearer the time.

As always, your continued support is appreciated, and I wish you all a very enjoyable weekend.

Best regards,

Matthew
Primary Team Lead
