Congratulations to the Grade 5 boys who won their second match against ABQ 5-2! We celebrated the next day with Makboos and donuts which everyone enjoyed immensely. Big thank you to Ms Khadija for providing the Makboos, it was delicious.
This week we have been following the journey of chocolate, and examining who the stakeholders are in the production of chocolate, and how the money we pay to buy it is split between the stakeholders. We realised that the money is split very unfairly, but that we can take action to make sure the farmers get paid a fairer price for all of their hard work.
Our Teams had a groups photo shoot, displaying their completed Chef’s hats, and we hope you enjoy seeing the results.
In maths students put their knowledge of shapes into action as they designed their own towns using 2D & 3D shapes. There was some amazing creativity on display, and some really imaginative features.
The week closed with the Primary Swim Gala, which allowed all students to showcase their learning this term. We wish you all a restful weekend. Best wishes, Miss Rachel & Ms Khadija.
