Exciting news! The swimming unit for Grades 1-6 is concluding this week, marking the end of a fantastic journey. It has been a joy to witness the significant progress and increased confidence in our students’ swimming skills throughout the entire 6-week session. Here’s a summary of what our students have learned:
Water Safety and Entry Techniques:
- Focus on proper water entry and exit techniques.
- Teach essential floating and breathing exercises.
- Introduce vital water safety rules.
- Use engaging games and activities to familiarize students with the water environment.
Fundamental Swimming Techniques:
- In-depth instruction on front and back float techniques.
- Introduction to flutter kicking and basic arm movements for forward movement.
- Initiation of elementary backstroke techniques.

Stroke Development and Confidence Building:
