Grade 11 students should now be engaged in meaningful CAS experiences related to one or more of our strands: creativity, activity, and service. They have been thoroughly introduced to the aims and expectations of CAS and should understand how to submit proposals through Managebac. All Grade 11 students will meet with me in the next 2 weeks to discuss individual CAS plans for the year. They will complete a personal interest inventory in order to generate ideas and objectives for rewarding CAS opportunities. All students have been given access to a CAS Google Classroom page where they can find several useful resources including the CAS student handbook, proposal template, and a detailed description of the CAS project. Please talk with your child about CAS and encourage them to seek support and guidance on a regular basis.
