Dear Families,
We wanted to provide you with an update on the exciting activities and learning experiences that took place in our physical education classes this week.
Grade 5 and 6 students had an eventful week filled with various challenges and engaging activities. They participated in obstacle courses, scavenger hunts, and team-building exercises. These activities were designed to encourage teamwork and problem-solving skills. Students were encouraged to work together, utilizing their critical thinking abilities and creativity to find innovative solutions. Through these challenges, they learned valuable lessons in working collaboratively, developing resilience, and demonstrating perseverance in the face of obstacles.
On the other hand, Grade 1-4 students focused on the striking and fielding unit, where they were introduced to T-Ball and Modified Softball. The main objective of this unit was to familiarize students with the basic skills and rules of these sports. Throughout the week, students worked on developing fundamental skills such as throwing, catching, batting, and base running. Additionally, they learned about the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play.
All students have shown great enthusiasm and engagement during these physical education activities. We are proud of their efforts and the progress they have made. It is wonderful to witness their growth in various areas, including physical skills, social interactions, and character development.
We encourage you to continue supporting your child’s physical education journey by reinforcing the importance of teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship at home. Additionally, if you have any questions or would like to discuss your child’s progress further, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We value your involvement and partnership in your child’s education.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to more exciting physical education adventures in the coming weeks.
Have a great weekend to all.
