Dear parents,
We had another exciting week at ABIS with our Grade 4 students. Both classes are working together on our Unit of Inquiry “How the World Works and they have really enjoyed the experiments and activities we have been doing in class. Ask your student what they have learned about “matter.”
- We are now working on nonfiction reading texts in class related to our UOI. My goal is to increase students reading comprehension skills and vocabulary. Please ask your student what they read about and learned in the reading inquiry this week.
- Please make sure they are reading on Raz-Kids and taking the quizzes for the books they read. It takes awhile but if they keeping being successful in their quizzes their reading level on the website will automatically go up to the next level. https://www.raz-kids.com
- Students created constructive responses on what they learned about 3 and 4 digit addition and subtraction with regrouping and presented what they learned to the other students.
