If you haven’t heard yet, we have been celebrating Oman Week.  And boy what a week it has been!  We started off at the Liwa beach, seeing and learning about mural art and of course collecting shells.  The next day we began our preparations for our visitors.  Moms came in to help with our “surprise boxes”. We got a little frustrated but pushed through.  The next day we continued on our boxes with a very successful finished product.  Wednesday Al Kawkaba School came to visit and we were there to greet them.  It seems we all had a great time.  We made groups and toured them around campus.  Later the visiting girls performed a traditional dance for us and then they were off.  On our last day of celebration, we painted tiles and made shell art with the shells we collected at the beach.  A good time was had by all.  I want to give a HUGE thank you to the moms that contributed and made our week so successful.  Without you guys, it couldn’t have been done.  Also, thank you to all the support staff for helping with preparations, planning, and even cleaning up.  Enjoy Qarnakoshoo!
