Our mind’s have been blown this week! We started tuning in for our brand new Unit of Inquiry under the transdisciplinary theme of Where We Are in Place And Time. Our Central Idea is that ‘Curiosity adds to our understanding of our place in the universe.’ We started our inquiry with a Scavenger hunt where we had to find the answers to a list of questions about our universe!
In Maths we are going to be looking at measurement and time as this is so closely linked to our inquiry into Space. We have already had our mind boggled by the sheer distances between identified planets and solar systems and also how far a light year is. Everyone has been so engaged and excited to learn just what is out there beyond our planet!
In language we used some of our inquiry words to create a sensory language bank of words that are often tricky to spell, we hope you enjoy the photos of us creating this resource.
