I have said it before, but I’ll say it again- there is nothing better than a 4 day weekend except a 3 day week. While it was short, we did stuff much into it. We began our descriptive writing. These should be fun. I am looking forward to the finished product. Our art pieces are coming along as well. This unit has lent itself well to a lot of integration. And math, well as you can see we are looking for patterns and making rules. We haven’t quite got it yet, but there was a lot of good thinking. I feel strongly about teaching kids to always be on the lookout for patterns. Our lives are made up of them. If we can spot them, we can then predict and plan for what might come next. Maybe this weekend you can spot a few and report back. And remember, patterns aren’t always in obvious things. Be on the lookout. Happy hunting.
