We looked at the Gingerbread man story this week. The students changed the story and wrote their own story with different characters. They also did activities with the rhyme” run, run as fast as you can, you can’t catch me I’m the Gingerbread man”. We linked our measurement unit in Math in with this activity and decided to bake the Gingerbread man. In measurement this week the students learned through experience that when you measure using a bottle or a measuring cup, you have to fill the cup to measure properly.
