For our Unit of Inquiry on ” How do we organize ourselves”, we are looking at the importance of rules. For the students to fully understand why rules are important, we had a day with no rules.
The day started off very calm and the students all played together quietly:) As the day moved on, the boys started throwing things around and the girls danced on the tables, they also decided to have a picnic in the reading corner. It was a fun day and after someone got hurt, a few toys were broken, etc, the students showed understanding of why rules are important.click here for the photos
