Dear Students,
We are looking forward to getting to know you all as the year goes on. We are your grade 3 teachers: Sarah Cooper (Mrs. Cooper), Roshell Willis (Ms. Willis) and Ms. Nahla. Many of you will know Mrs. Cooper as she has taught grade 6 at ABIS for the last two years, Ms. Nahla has been here in the ECC and everyone knows Ms. Willis because she has been at ABIS for a long long time.
Hello grade 3, I’m Mrs. Cooper, although I’m sure some of you will call me Ms. Sarah. This is my third year at ABIS and I am here with my husband Mr. Cooper, who will be one of your PE teachers, our two sons and two dogs. Before moving to Oman I taught in the UK for 18 years and then in Albaina at an IB school for another 3 years. I have been lucky enough to have taught every grade from KG1 to grade 6! I am excited to meet you and your families and start your grade 3 journey!
Marhaba, grade 3, I am Ms. Willis and I’m sure that I know most of you already. I have had many different roles at ABIS for the last 14 years. I taught grade 3 for 7 years and the rest of the time was split between teaching K1/K2, grade 1 and grade 2, learner support, EAL as well as being the school nurse. I have 3 children who attended ABIS and are now in university. I am excited to be back in grade 3 and look forward to seeing you all and connecting with your families in the year ahead.
Hello everyone, My name is Nahla. I have been in ABIS for 8 years. I worked a lot with the kindergarten students and last year I worked in Grade 1. I often helped grade 2 when they needed me. I worked with many different teachers and I had different experiences which benefited my work and family life. My husband and I have two children (a girl and a boy) and we live here in Sohar. I love to travel and we have already visited many beautiful places. My children love the sea and so do I. I like tasting food from different places and I love trying new foods, so I have to keep my fitness up or else I could become fat all the from eating?. I am very happy to work with Ms Roshell and Ms. Sarah we will definitely be great grade 3 team. I think it will be a fun and positive year!

The links are for student login on Sunday the 20 August 2021. Please ensure that your child has access to some basic stationery for the first week of school; pencils, note book, charged Ipads, scissors, erasers etc.
