After paying the expenses from our Mini Business, we were delighted to discover that we made 54.600 OMR profit! We have been thinking about games that would be suitable for students to play in LC1 during break times in the hot weather. We decided the games need to be durable, appealing and pretty quick.
Each person gave this some thought and these are some of our suggestions.
It will be exciting when we are able to return to school and play our new games. I wonder how many we can buy with the profit?
Our class was excited to start our inquiry into Invention and Innovation this week. We already have lots of questions and can think of inventions we would like to know more about.
After reading a little about inventors, we considered the skills and attributes that successful inventors need. As we read about a few more inventors, we added to our list. Here are our ideas so far:
It was fun using our imaginations to design our own gadget. To present our design to the class we had to think through who would use it and why. Here are some of our designs.
Perhaps some of these will become household items one day! I wonder what we will invent or innovate next? ?
