Over the past two weeks we have been reading the novel Shiloh. This is a story about a boy who goes to great lengths to save a dog which is being mistreated by it’s owner. The story touches on the best and worst of human nature.
We took one of the main characters, Judd Travers, the antagonist and produced some work around him. We had to use the online thesaurus to look up words that described his character. The aim of this lesson was to learn other words we could use instead of bad or mean.
As a prelude to our book report we have also completed a ‘Chain of Events’ chart.
