Hi everyone,
This week we have been learning how to prove our learning in multiplication by providing Visual Proof – students have been using “partitioning” to tackle large number multiplications like 53 x 4, 158 x 5 and 1243 x 6.
In Unit we have inquiring further into Forces and Newton’s Laws of Motion by completing a “Jigsaw” activity, where we learn about 1 aspect of the unit and then teach it to our classmates and then switch and hear their information.
In reading we have been raising and answering deep questions and in writing we have been using imperative verbs. We celebrated ABIS and Oman National day by dressing in Omani national dress and colours and writing “Recipe Poems” using the imperative verbs.
