Our students were excited to receive their recorders in Music this week. First they learned to how to clean their recorder and then how to hold it correctly with their left hand as the upper hand.
They hope to earn many colourful ‘belts’ which will be added to their recorder as they pass each level.
They learned to play the note B and how to make it sound pleasant.
Several children have also been using lunchtime to do some extra practise.
Before we wrote our camp reflections on the skills and attributes we showed, it helped to explain our examples to a buddy. This helps us to better understand and use new vocabulary.
Noodle day was popular with many students. Apparently there will be some different noodles available next week.
