Our students have shown great creativity, patience, and perseverance this week as they prepared for the performance of The Nutcracker on Wednesday evening and Assembly on Thursday.

We were so excited putting on the costumes and having the stage make up put on. What a show!

Our classes worked together to record the information about the Human Body that we thought was important to share at Assembly. Then together we worked out how to present the information in an interesting way for the audience. We thought of props to help and many of us brought things along.

Lots of us were keen to have a speaking role and some tried to use a different voice for our character. Learning to read our words clearly was a challenge because so many of the words used for the systems in the human body are long.

Mr McBirnie and Ms Ana taught us a cool tribal body percussion piece of music.

We also developed a dance about the skeletal system with Ms Markin.

Creating our own skeleton costume was great fun and helped us to learn a little more about where our bones are.

We went home feeling very proud of what we have achieved and produced this week.
