Grade five students have been studying poetry using the book Love That Dog. They follow along as Jack, a student like them, studies different poems, and they are writing poems along with looking at different poems. It’s a great way to reveal how language is used, and to reinforce parts of speech in a fun way. Students have written several poems, and we share them every chance we get.
