During STEAM, grade four students worked with grade fives to use the steps for the scientific method to create a simple lab about air using a straw, string, and a balloon. Students came up with great questions to investigate in this lab.
Students also turned into teachers to analyze personal narratives and give them a grade on the six traits of writing. Students were serious and tough graders on this activity.
