It was heartening to see so many parents at the student led conference this week. It is a great opportunity for the children to share their learning with their parents and for parents to get a better understanding of how learning takes place in our class. In math, we extended our work on area perimeter by learning to calculate costs associated with it. During our Unit of Inquiry, the children engaged in very lively and engaging discussions on the costs and benefits of industrialization.
