The children solidified their understanding of averages by engaging in a task involving measuring different parts of their bodies and calculating averages. This proved to be an enjoyable task with may learning opportunities. We will continue with averages into next week while exploring the mean, median and mode. Our current unit on space will conclude next week. Our next unit will look at the industrialization of food systems.
