This week the children engaged in a range of activities involving probability. During these activities we looked carefully at how probability affects us in the decisions we make and also how companies, especially fast food chains that give free toys with children’s meals, use probability to ensure customers return. Next week we will begin working on averages. Our unit of inquiry and writing genre remains the same.
