Grade 3 to 10 students have been doing the annual ISA tests. These are not stressful exams but relaxed assessments that inform the school about the level students are at in Maths, Reading and Writing. Each year we do an interpretation of results and share the individual students reports with parents. There will also be a follow up parents ISA information evening scheduled in April or May, where we will talk about what the data means, and how to interpret your child’s report.

Because of the building work starting very shortly, we have been carefully planning how we can make best use of our available spaces so that students are not disadvantaged with their learning. We have worked very closely to ensure that our students still get plenty of exercise, though obviously swimming will no longer take place within the school day until August. We are planning to have simultaneous early morning swimming on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Palm Gardens (Mr Carberry) and Dawood (Mr Jacobs) so that we can continue with our swim programme. More details will be shared by these teachers in the very near future. We really look forward to the wonderful new facilities we will have in August and thank you for your understanding and apologise for any frustration.
