On Wednesday we had a great lunch with Al Nahdla, the workers building our school. All 160 of them were served food by Secondary students, whilst younger students delivered them hand made thank you cards. This was a really special moment for everyone involved and the workers were deeply moved.
On Wednesday afternoon students between Grade 1 and 9 ‘went to the theatre’ (aka our Sports Hall) to watch a play called “Around the World in 80 days” by travelling actors. It was really enjoyable and a privilege to have them with us in Sohar!
Next week will be crammed with Oman week activities and mock exams for the older students. For parents of children on the trips, we will try and send out regular updates on the Broadcaster. A reminder to make sure you give your child’s medical card to the trip leader. No ASAs during Oman week so buses will run as usual.
As I write this, I am really looking forward to tonight’s Cabaret – a sophisticated evening of singing, dancing and tasty snacks.
