It has only been four days since we moved into the new building but it feels like we have been here for a while. We, the children and teachers, have transitioned well to our new learning space. Being in an open learning space means we have more opportunities to work with the grade six class something we plan do as often as possible over the course of the year. In math we have begun working on palace value, rounding numbers, doubling and halving whole numbers and decimals. Our unit of inquiry which looks at how we faced and deal with challenges begins next week. The type of writing we will work on within this unit is information report writing.
