A wonderful performance from our Grade 7 to 11 dancers at the British School Muscat on Sunday. All students did really well, but a special mention to Willem and Claire who won the duet for older students. A proud moment for us and especially Carole Saunders who has worked so hard to inspire and prepare them over the years. Miss Saunders got a ‘group hug’ at the end as students showed their appreciation.

The community Iftar was a great success and another first for the school, masterminded and organised by our superb Student Council and their teacher coordinators, Miss Brewer and Miss Camp. It was great to share Iftar with our Muslims in such a respectful manner, as well as to learn a little more about their tradition and faith. Thank you everyone for supporting this ‘delicious event that brought us together’.

I have been struck by the tremendous progress of most students within the secondary school this year. So many Secondary students are maturing very quickly, growing, developing, and wanting to do better and we aim to keep this momentum going next year. This progress was pleasingly reflected in the recent reports.

A special thank you to Mr Clarke, Miss Camp, Miss Saunders, Mrs Marchmont and Mr Kearney and for your tremendous and immeasurable contribution to the secondary school. You will be very sadly missed. A sad farewell to departing students and their families from us. We wish you all the best and hope that you stay in contact.

We look forward to seeing you all in the new academic year, in the new building. Have a wonderful summer and we hope to see you on Thursday, August 25 at 1pm for our ‘Back to School Bash’.
