As part of math and our unit of inquiry we are involved in learning about how important measurement is. In our unit of inquiry about materials we have been conducting experiments that require a certain amount to be used to ensure the experiment works properly. We have also learnt about Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man in Math. Did you know that the length of a your outspread arms is equal to your height? Or the distance from the top of your head to the bottom of your chin is one-eighth of a your height? Of course, you have to measure accurately as we found out!
