The children had a lot of fun as they inquired into some of the reasons why people invent things. They discovered that amongst the accidental discoveries were such things as the ice cream cone, dynamite, matches, the microwave and post it notes to name a few. In math the class focused on mentally subtracting tens from tens and hundreds from hundreds. Our procedure writing proved to be quite popular as well.
