This week the Grade four students have been busy experimenting… They have been finding out about physical change and chemical reactions as well as learning how to conduct experiments using the scientific method. Making and eating s’mores, melting chocolate and mixing salt and sugar with water demonstrated both physical changes and chemical reactions.
The G4s also made a mini landfill so they could make scientific observations to see how different sorts of materials react in the environment.
