Last week as part of their work on decimals the children pretended they were shopping for groceries by creating grocery lists. This week, using menus from local restaurants they ‘took three feiends out to lunch’ . They had to treat their friends to a good meal but had to stick to their budget of forty Rials. The new unit on inventions will begin the first week after the break. The writing genre will be procedural writing. In math, the children will work on data gathering while continuing to consolidate their umber skills in the four operations.
