Dear Parents,
Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend .
We are excited to share a brief update on what students have been working on in Art this week:
- KG1: started a new unit ( sharing the planet ) and they started to be caring about earth and they made printing for an earth with different textures .
- KG2: continue to discover Nature, they draw day and night by using shapes and lines from elements of art.
- Grade 1: continued working on their painting unit where we are in place and time, they started to use line and shape as a part of the 7 elements of art to draw their own houses and they outline it with markers, they started to understand how to choose the right size of the brush and next week they will paint it.
- Grade 2: continued working on their collage unit and they started to sketch their idea to create ( landscape, cityscape, nature or abstract art).
- Grade3: continue working on the construction unit by discovering more information about the old Egyptian civilization, they are making 3D temple by using different materials.
- Grade 4: Discovered warm & cool colors. Now they are creating their own abstract art or a landscape ideas.
- Grade 5: today is last day of making their digital art ideas about their identity and next class we will celebrate the unit with all subjects.
- Grade 6: continued working on their drawing unit ( one point perspective) they started to draw buildings.
