Dear Parents,
Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend .
We are excited to share a brief update on what students have been working on in Art this week:
- KG1: Continued exploring colors and emotions through creative activities (creating imaginary creatures with their personal emotions ).
- KG2: Started to Discover Nature, drawing wild & farm animals in nature by using shapes and lines from elements of art.
- Grade 1: Construction unit, created installations, using scrap papers to create a teamwork installation inside the art room.
- Grade 2: End of the clay unit, they did a reflection on their work.
- Grade3: continue working on the construction unit by discovering more information about the old Egyptian civilization, they are 3D temple by using different materials.
- Grade 4: Discovered tints & shades and tones. Now they are creating their own abstract art or a landscape ideas.
- Grade 5: discovering digital technology through go deeper into digital art and be a risk taker to learn new things about the new app that we will use in this unit (Sketches) by making a small practicing to create something about their identity to practice composition ( focal point).
- Grade 6: started new drawing unit ( one point perspective).
