Dear Parents,
Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend .
We are excited to share a brief update on what students have been working on in Art this week:
- KG1: Continued exploring colors and emotions through creative activities (teamwork effort to create the emotions calm & joy).
- KG2: Started to Discover Nature, drawing different insects and animals in nature by using shapes and lines from elements of art.
- Grade 1: Construction unit, created installations, using scrap papers to create something personal to desk what they feel and love.
- Grade 2: End of the clay unit, they did a reflection on their work and they made a peer feedback.
- Grade3: continue working on the construction unit by discovering more information about the old Egyptian civilization, they are making origami pyramid.
- Grade 4: Discovered shades by creating their own abstract art ideas.
- Grade 5: discovering digital technology through go deeper into digital art and be a risk taker to learn new things about the new app that we will use in this unit (Sketches) by making a small practicing to create something about their identity.
- Grade 6: Finally finished their PYP Exhibition and congratulations for all their achievements, I am so proud of them.
