Grade 10 students have been completing the performance strand of their e-portfolios over the past few weeks. As part of this process, they have been actively participating in games across a variety of sports, including basketball, volleyball, football, and badminton. These activities have provided students with the opportunity to demonstrate their skills, apply strategies, and reflect on their overall performance in game situations. Through gameplay, they have been focusing on teamwork, communication, and sport-specific techniques. This practical application supports their ability to analyze their strengths and identify areas for continued growth within their portfolios.

Meanwhile, Grade 9 students have begun working on their mini e-portfolios. To support this, they have paired up and started interviewing one another to gather information related to their health-related fitness components. During these interviews, students are discussing aspects such as cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and body composition. They are also identifying which components of their fitness they would most like to improve and setting personal goals to guide their progress. This collaborative approach encourages reflection and helps students take ownership of their individual fitness journeys.

Grade 8 students have recently begun a unit in Ultimate Frisbee. As they enter the final stages of completing their Health-Related Fitness (HRF) unit, this activity allows them to apply their understanding of fitness concepts in a dynamic and engaging team sport. Through Ultimate Frisbee, students are developing their agility, endurance, and teamwork skills while continuing to reinforce key HRF principles.
