Dear Parents,
Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend .
We are excited to share a brief update on what students have been working on in Art this week:
- KG1: Continued exploring colors and emotions through creative activities (experiment music with painting ).
- KG2: Started a new unit on Discovering Nature, drawing different flowers found in nature.
- Grade 1: Construction unit, temporary vs. permanent installations, using chalks to create a temporary installation.
- Grade3: continue working on the construction unit by discovering more information about the old Egyptian civilization.
- Grade 2: continue working on pinch pots, making emotions and add texture.
- Grade 4: Discovered color tints by creating their own abstract art ideas.
- Grade 5: discovering digital technology through go deeper into digital art and be a risk taker to learn new things about the new app that we will use in this unit (Sketches).
- Grade 6: Currently working on their PYP Exhibition projects.
