We have had a busy and engaging week in Grade 5!

Students have been exploring ethical and sustainable choices in different ways. Some students are wrapping up their work on repurposed items, taking something they no longer use and giving it a new life. Others have been diving deeper into understanding where our products end up and the impact this can have on people and the environment. In maths we are beginning to explore fractions, this week we specifically focused on different vocabulary words related to fractions which are on our wall to help us throughout the unit.

You can find pictures from our week here.

Looking Forward:

Next week, Sunday-Tuesday we will be away in Muscat for our trip. Please find the brochure here  again with all the important information students and parents need to know. We encourage students to pack their own bags, using page 3 of the brochure as a checklist to support independence and organisation.

Please ensure students arrive on time on Sunday morning, as we will depart as soon as the bus is packed.

Please make sure students have a packed snack and lunch for Sunday!

Thank you for your continued support. We are really looking forward to this special experience with the students!

Warm regards, Miss Megan & Mr. G
