1. This Week in Our Learning

This week, students began their Invasion Games Unit and Health Related Fitness Unit, an exciting opportunity to explore how teamwork, communication, and strategy come together through fun and engaging activities.

Grade 1 students participated in simple invasion-style games that focused on moving safely in space, passing, and working cooperatively with others. They practiced sharing space, following basic rules, and learning how to move toward a goal while supporting their teammates.

Grades 2–3 played modified invasion games, developing fundamental skills such as passing, defending, and finding open space. The emphasis was on communication, teamwork, and understanding the importance of fair play as they worked together during games.

Grades 4–6 began a health-related unit, where students identified their personal strengths and areas for improvement. They learned how to set personal health goals and started creating their own simple training programs to support their overall fitness and well-being.

2. Looking Ahead

In the coming weeks, students will continue to develop their game awareness, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. They will learn how to create space, support teammates, and make thoughtful decisions during gameplay. We look forward to seeing them apply these skills both in PE lessons and in their daily interactions—demonstrating that teamwork, respect, and perseverance are just as important off the field as they are in the game.
