It has been a creative and inspiring week in the Art Room across all grade levels:

  • KG1 students began a new unit on feelings and emotions, expressing the emotion of anger through watercolor painting.
  • Grade 1 students explored printmaking by designing creative projects across different printing stations, each offering a unique idea and technique.
  • Grade 2 students started designing 3D rooms for their homes (bedroom, bathroom, living room, and kitchen), identifying needs and wants. Some students extended their thinking by creating homes set in different biomes using recycled materials.
  • Grade 3 students painted Cubist-style self-portraits, showing different emotions on each side and experimenting with warm and cool colors.
  • Grade 4 students completed self-portrait sculptures inspired by Picasso, using clay to explore form and expression.
  • Grade 5 students created landscapes inspired by Van Gogh’s “Starry Night”, focusing on movement and expressive brushwork.
  • Grade 6 students worked on completing their Zentangle sketches and began the mono-printing process.

Alongside all this creativity, we also enjoyed the energy of Sports Day and the school assembly. After such wonderful effort and enthusiasm, it’s time to take a well-deserved rest.

✨ Happy Holidays to everyone! Thank you for your hard work and creativity. Enjoy the break, and we look forward to seeing you refreshed and inspired after the holidays.
