🎨 Visual Art Weekly Update
Happy national day for all Oman
Our young artists had a wonderful week filled with creativity and exploration across all grade levels:
- KG1 – Students started new unit about feelings and emotions, they started to see different portraits for Pablo Picasso and they discussed what they feel in each artwork and they paint what they feel in their mind on paper.
- KG2 – They created different textures by using bubble wrap and stamps and another materials with different textures and paint to create patterns in their project.
- Grade 1 – Students designed a printing project with foil and paint to create a mono printing effect .
- Grade 2 – Students started to design a 3D rooms for their house like (bedroom , bathroom, living room, kitchen) by identifying their needs and wants.
- Grade 3- students paint their self portrait with the cubism style.
- Grade 4 –students finished with the self portrait sketch influenced by Picasso’s artwork and next week they will start to create it through clay.
- ‘Grade 5 – celebrating the Omani national day by drawing different designs about the Omani culture.
- Grade 6 – most of them started to finish the zentangels art sketch and preparing for the next printing process.
It has been an inspiring week in the art room, and we are so proud of the progress each student is making.
