🎨 Visual Art Weekly Update

Welcome back! I hope you all enjoyed your lovely break. Our young artists had a wonderful week filled with creativity and exploration across all grade levels:

  • KG1 – Students started to practice oval and stars.
  • KG2 – They made a puppet for boy & a girl by using different materials.
  • Grade 1 – Students started a printing unit and they made a creative design by using leaf print.
  • Grade 2 – Students started to design a bedroom by identifying their needs and wants.
  • Grade 3 – students started to know the meaning of the word cubism and self portrait to create their own self portrait like Picasso.
  • Grade 4 – Students explored the concept of value, practicing a variety of shading techniques and they finished to create their own collage as a summative assessment and they made good efforts.
  • β€˜Grade 5 – started a new unit (Painting) and they started to know the Impressionism style and Van Gogh with his fantastic painting starry night, they practiced some brush strokes to create a sky with wind, flow or energy.
  • Grade 6 – Inspired by Eduard Munich , students started to create their own sketches about their emotions by using zindegals art as a starting for the printing unit.

It has been an inspiring week in the art room, and we are so proud of the progress each student is making.
