If there is anything to get students back out of the holiday spirit and back into work mode with a bang, then it is a Criterion A rules test in your first PHE lesson back to school! To be fair, the students had been aware of the test and would have had time to prepare. We also graded criterion C (performance) for Grade 8’s.
The rest of the week we have been focussing on rugby skills which has been a nice break from the constant assessments in the other sports. Students seem to have enjoyed working on and learning a new skillset.
