Term 1 Reports
Earlier today we shared your child’s Term 1 Report. The slightly revised format reflects our focus on effort, growth, and reflection rather than grades, helping to give a clearer picture of each student’s learning journey so far. We encourage you to take some time to read the report together with your child—celebrating successes, reflecting on areas for growth, and setting positive goals for the term ahead. If you have any questions about how best to support your child’s learning, please reach out to your child’s teacher.
3-Way Conferences
A reminder that 3-Way Conferences will take place on Monday, 3rd and Tuesday, 4th November (3:15–6:15 pm). These meetings are an important opportunity to discuss learning goals and next steps with your child’s homeroom and specialist teachers. Sign-up forms have already been shared, so please be sure to book a time. For KG1 families, these will take the form of Parent–Teacher Conferences instead.
End of Term Reflections
As we reach the end of Week 9 and head into the October break, it’s a great moment to reflect on what has been a busy and successful start to the year. Students and teachers have worked hard to create strong class and grade-level communities, with expectations and routines co-created and understood. Friendships have formed and strengthened, and new students have settled in beautifully.
We wish everyone an enjoyable break — a time to rest, recharge, and, we hope, have fun. Whether you are staying in Sohar or heading off within Oman or beyond, we wish you a wonderful and relaxing holiday.
